Concerts On The Canal Welland

JULY 2015

" As you know at this point I have booked hundreds of shows over 23 years. The range of those acts covers bar bands, to next weekend working with 2015 Grammy Country Artist of the year. In all of those shows you get the good ones and the bad ones.I look for a few simple things and Gerry and his band covered both effortlessly, professional start to finish and a real deep level of talent. These talented folks truly entertained a capacity crowd for well over two hours. The crowd was calling for more as they finished up their night. No attitude, no nonsense, just good old talent on that stage last night. Both acts exceeded my expectations and were a pleasure to work with. I hope to have the chance to do it again. If you ever need a reference for this fine group of musicians please don't hesitate to ask, it was a job well done. Too bad there are not a 100 other acts like this around."

Sault Ste Marie Roarty Fest

AUG 2015

" In one word "SPECTACULAR!" In July of 2015, the headlining acts of our ROTARYFEST were Fleetwood Nicks and Practically Petty. As the entertainment director for our event‘s main stage, it is challenging to bring in something special each year that makes our small town audience feel like they are attending a real live concert. I want to take this opportunity to say that we have had lots of great tribute bands in the past, but Fleetwood Nicks and Practically Petty delivered one of the best performances we have ever had. This top notch show brings a combination of fantastic showmanship and outstanding musicianship that mimics the musical intricacies of Fleetwood Mac and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. The show is built upon the music and appreciation for these two classic rock bands that have appealed to generations. Our event was thoroughly enjoyed by all and we received countless compliments of how awesome it was and that the look, sound, feel and energy of the musicians was a perfect replica of the originals. As a genuine Fleetwood Mac and Petty fan, I truly enjoyed the set lists of both bands as presented by Anna, Erin, Gerry, Michael, Steve, and Frank. As I looked into the audience, I saw people smiling and singing along. They were dancing and reliving special memories that the music brought back. As a director, I think it is also important to point out that these musicians were a pleasure to deal with. They are consummate professionals and extremely lovely people who you can tell really enjoy what they do! So if you are a producer or event planner, you need not worry; they will be on time, ready, and they will perform their bums off. Thank you Fleetwood Nicks and Practically Petty for a wonderful show and DON‘T STOP doing what you‘re doing - you make a lot of people happy! Congratulations on your great sound, your great look and your great entertainment skills! I wish you continued success and hope to someday see you again!!!."

Sincerely, Shaun

"It was absolutely wonderful to have you and the band with us on Friday night.  If you ever need a testimonial, here's one for you: Fleetwood Nicks is a band that appeals to all ages - their performances of Fleetwood Mack and Tom Petty tunes are fantastic, while they offer a great selection of well-known songs by other popular artists.  The dance floor stays full and everyone is smiling when Fleetwood Nicks plays.

Not only that, but they are a pleasure to have as guests in the hotel. The Fleetwood Nicks band is a delight to work with in terms of professionalism, timeliness and set lengths.  I look forward to inviting them back to perform at The Rosseau, A JW Marriott Resort & Spa many times in future."

"It was a great performance and a step back in time. Fleetwood Nicks (Fleetwood Mac) and Practically Petty (Tom Petty), huge rock 'n' roll acts of the 1970s and 80s, brought back a lot of memories Friday night at the Medicine Hat Lodge before an enthusiastic crowd. Anna Leeming, who captured the look and feel for Fleetwood Mac lead singer Stevie Nicks, was the next best thing to actually seeing Nicks in person. The same can be said for Gerry Parsons, whose style and voice mimicked that of Tom Petty. If you just happened to sit back and close your eyes, you might have thought you were really back in the 1970s. Both put on a fantastic show. The likeness of the two acts were close to perfect, as was the music, the singing and the overall performance. Connie Scriver on keyboards captured everyone's excitement with her vocal and musical talents. It was such an entertaining performance that the crowd insisted on an encore by chanting and banging their cutlery on the tables. The whole evening was a lot of fun and topped off with a great dinner buffet put on by the Medicine Hat Lodge staff."
